A criminal complaint has been filed in the Middle District of Florida against Junior Alexander Sanabria-Barrera, a 27-year-old Honduran national. He is charged with illegal reentry into the United States following an investigation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Sanabria-Barrera was deported from the United States in April 2023. However, he was found in Sumter County, Florida, on February 14, 2025. At that time, he did not have permission from either the U.S. Attorney General or the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to seek readmission to the country.
The case is under investigation by ICE officers based in Miami and Orlando. Assistant U.S. Attorney Belkis H. Callaos will handle the prosecution.
