U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has apprehended Francisco Samaniego Leal, a 44-year-old Mexican national, on February 18 in San Diego. This arrest follows his previous detainment by the San Diego County Sheriff's Office for drug possession and false citizenship charges dating back to March 25, 2003.

In addition to these charges, Samaniego faced multiple allegations on August 21, 2003, including driving under the influence of alcohol, hit and run incidents, and property damage. His removal from the United States was executed following a final order of removal issued by an immigration judge.

The public is encouraged to report any crimes or suspicious activities by calling 866-DHS-2-ICE (866-347-2423) or through the online tip form. ICE continues its mission to enhance public safety in California.

More information about ICE's efforts can be found on their X account @EROSanDiego.
