Guatemalan national with criminal history arrested by ICE in San Diego

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has detained Selvin Perez Thomas, a 24-year-old Guatemalan citizen, on February 26 in San Diego. Perez has a criminal history that includes charges of driving under the influence, hit-and-run causing death or injury, and conspiracy to file a fraudulent insurance claim.

Perez has been deported from the United States twice before and is now in ICE custody awaiting removal proceedings.

The public is encouraged to report crimes and suspicious activities by calling 866-DHS-2-ICE (866-347-2423) or by completing an online tip form.
