San Elizario Independent School District issued the following announcement on July 10.
The San Elizario Independent School District is very proud of the graduating Class of 2020. The decision to cancel the San Elizario High School graduation ceremony, which was scheduled for Friday, July 10, 2020 was made after receiving stricter guidelines from the city’s health department. The safety of our students and those of our staff and community is our priority. We understand the disappointment of our students and families and hope you understand we want to do our part to keep everyone healthy and safe.
