Six individuals from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Mexico have been indicted for illegal reentry into the United States. The charges follow an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The accused include Cesar Antonio Geronimo-Morales, 34; Calixto Gomez-Lopez, 42; Fermin Diaz, 37; Lenar Donaldo Martinez-Garay, 32; Lesman Yohan Lopez-Gamez, 33; and Juan Jose Resendiz-Gonzalez, 47. Each individual faces up to two years in federal prison if convicted.

Court documents reveal that all six were previously deported and later found in Duval County without authorization from the U.S. Attorney General or the Secretary of Homeland Security to apply for readmission.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Brenna Falzetta is prosecuting the case.
