U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), in collaboration with the Mount Pleasant Police Department, is requesting public assistance in identifying potential victims in an ongoing child sexual exploitation investigation. The investigation involves a man from the low country who worked at a local daycare before becoming a private babysitter in Sullivans Island, Moncks Corner, and Mount Pleasant.
On February 19, Brandon Brill was arrested by ICE and MPPD on charges related to child exploitation after law enforcement began investigating a minor being extorted for images of child sexual abuse material. This type of criminal activity is known as sextortion. Brill has been working as a private babysitter since at least 2021 and was employed at a local daycare in 2022. From 2023 to 2025, he advertised his babysitting services on Facebook and Nanny Lane for the low country area.
Authorities are seeking information that could help identify any potential victims whom Brill may have engaged or exploited due to his online activities and employment history. If your child or any child you know had contact with Brandon Brill, you are encouraged to contact the tip line.
ICE urges the public to report suspected child predators, sextortion activities involving minors, or any suspicious activity through its toll-free tip line at 866-DHS-2-ICE (866-347-2423) or by completing its online tip form. Both services are available around the clock. Calls from outside the United States and Canada can be made to 802-872-6199, while hearing-impaired users may call TTY 802-872-6196. Please mention that your tip relates to this press release.
