There were 184 students enrolled in La Fe Preparatory School in the 2022-23 school year, 3.2% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52.2% of them were girls, and 47.8% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 99.5% of the La Fe Preparatory School total enrollment.

La Fe Preparatory School roughly covers schools within El Paso County with its main office in El Paso.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
