There were 340 students enrolled in Vista Del Futuro Charter School in the 2021-22 school year, 36.5% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 55% of them were boys, and 45% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 87.4% of the Vista Del Futuro Charter School total enrollment.

Vista Del Futuro Charter School roughly covers schools within El Paso County with its main office in El Paso.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
