City of Socorro issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.
Due to an ongoing police activity the area of Janice & Nancy will be closed. The public is asked to avoid this area. Street detours will be Nuevo Hueco Rd for north & south connections and North Loop or Alameda for east to west access. More information will be given as it comes in.
