TOWN OF CLINT: Minutes For Planning & Zoning Meeting Held June 16, 2020 At 5:00 P.M.

Town of Clint issued the following announcement on June 17.

Meeting was called to order by Addam Hernandez at 5:08 p.m.

ROLL CALL: Present were Robert Posada, Addam Hernandez, Raymond Saenz, Mayor Aguirre, Asst. City Attorney Bertha Ontiveros, Town Clerk Susie Rodriguez and Court Clerk Denise Perez. On phone conference was Miguel Corral. Absent was Tomas Rodriguez. In the audience were Alderman Michael Dickey, Maintenance Dept. Supervisor Hector Parada and several Clint residents.

Agenda Items:

2. REQUEST TO REZONE PROPERTY ON 107 S. SAN ELIZARIO ROAD, CLINT, TEXAS – Discuss and take action on recommendation to council regarding application to rezone the following property: Inkwood Estates LTD, legally described as a portion of Tracts 1, 2B, 2D11 and of the vacated Clint spur Drain, and all of Tract 2-D-5, Block 19, San Elizario Grant, Town of Clint, El Paso County, Texas, from B2 Highway Business District to R3 Multifamily Residential District. VOTE WAS AS FOLLOWS: Robert Posada NO, Addam Hernandez YES, Raymond Saenz NO and Miguel Corral YES.

3. ZONING AMENDMENT: Discuss and take action to make a recommendation to Town of Clint Council regarding an Ordinance to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 18 to create a new zoning classification, R-5 for Multifamily Housing, Attached and Detached Dwellings. VOTE WAS AS FOLLOWS: Addam Hernandez YES, Robert Posada YES, Miguel Corral YES, Raymond Saenz NO.

1. Motion by Addam Hernandez second by Robert Posada to approve Preliminary Plat and a Final Plat, proposed as Gibbs Place Subdivision Replat, legally described as Tract 7B and 8A1, Block 22, San Elizario Grant, Town of Clint, El Paso County, Texas (currently zoned as A-Agricultural) and addressed as 13100 North Loop Dr, with conditions – lots be renumbered and plat be clearly marked as preliminary and final. All in Favor.

EXECUTIVE SESSION: None

Motion by Addam Hernandez second by Robert Posada to adjourn. All in Favor. 6:26 p.m.
