Veronica Escobar has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Beto O’Rourke and has previously held office as an El Paso County Commissioner from 2007 to 2011. Born in El Paso in 1969 and holding a BA from the University of Texas at El Paso, she continues to reside in her hometown while advocating for its residents.
