U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Tampa has entered into an IMAGE program agreement with Ruri Software Technologies and Famous Technologies, Inc. The IMAGE (ICE Mutual Agreement Between Government and Employers) program is a collaborative effort between the government and businesses aimed at enhancing security and ensuring a stable workforce while reducing the risk of hiring unauthorized workers.

The IMAGE initiative offers employers a free E-Verify employment eligibility program to verify new hires’ work eligibility in the U.S. This internet-based system connects to the Social Security Administration’s database and Department of Homeland Security immigration records.

“These partnerships with businesses in our communities are an integral part of our commitment to providing national security, as well as the security of employees and customers,” said HSI Tampa Special Agent in Charge John Condon. “They are leading by example in how a legal workforce is a key component of responsible corporate citizenship.”

Ruri Software Technologies and Famous Technologies have committed to maintaining secure workforces by avoiding the employment of unauthorized workers through outreach and education initiatives. To achieve IMAGE certification, companies must complete several steps, including completing a self-assessment questionnaire, enrolling in E-Verify within 60 days, establishing a written hiring policy with annual Form I-9 audits, and undergoing Form I-9 inspections.

Ruri Software Technologies specializes in IT consulting services offering comprehensive software solutions. Its companion company, Famous Technologies Inc., provides similar services across various domains throughout the U.S., focusing on innovative technology-enabled solutions.

“We are proud to align ourselves with the values and standards that IMAGE represents, and we look forward to upholding the integrity and responsibility that comes with this designation,” said Ruri Software technologies director of operations Ram Arikatlal. “It is an honor to be part of this important partnership committed to fostering a lawful workforce while promoting best hiring practices.”
