There were 10,365 students enrolled in Clint ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.2% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51% of them were boys, and 49% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 95.1% of the Clint ISD total enrollment.

Clint ISD roughly covers schools within El Paso County with its main office in El Paso.

Among the 15 schools in Clint ISD, Horizon High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,677 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
