On Saturday, March 30, former Burges High School standout Tristen Newton’s current collegiate team the UConn Huskies won 77-52 against the Illinois Fighting Illini in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Boston, Massachusetts, this was the first game against the Illinois Fighting Illini during the championship.
