DON’T TREAD ON THE POPPIES
Each spring, yellow and orange poppies stretch across the foot of the Franklin Mountains in northeast El Paso. The beautiful flowers make for stunning pictures, but getting a picture of the flower off the trail can destroy other poppies along the way.
The El Paso Museum of Archaeology asks visitors to watch their steps and stay on walking paths and trails.
