El Paso, Texas—The City of El Paso is excited to announce Frontier Airlines will be adding two new routes at El Paso International Airport (ELP).

Beginning this summer, travelers will enjoy convenient new nonstops to Ontario, Calif. (ONT) and San Diego (SAN).

Frontier's new service to Ontario will commence on May 17, 2024, with flights operating three times a week. Additionally, nonstop flights to San Diego will

begin on May 16, 2024, also with a three-times-a-week frequency. “We are thrilled to welcome Frontier Airlines' new nonstop service to Ontario and San Diego. These additions further enhance our connectivity, providing travelers with more options and convenience," said Director of Aviation Sam Rodriguez.

These new routes complement Frontier's existing service from ELP to Denver and Las Vegas. While Ontario is part of the Southern California market already served by Southwest (LAX and Long Beach) and American (LAX), the addition of Frontier's flights offers travelers more choices to fly. Similarly, San

Diego, currently served by Southwest with daily flights, will benefit from increased options with Frontier's service.

The announcement of these new routes comes just after the start of Southwest Airlines' Long Beach, California, and Orlando services this past fall. Additionally, Southwest Airlines' Chicago Midway service and Delta Airlines' addition of a third flight to Atlanta are both set to start this summer.
