In an effort to continue energy affordability and climate action, the City of El Paso and the nonprofit group Solar United Neighbors (SUN) will formally announce the second year of the El Paso Solar co-op to help El Pasoans go solar and install battery storage systems.
The co-op is free to join and open to homeowners and business owners in El Paso.
The co-op advances the City’s Strategic Plan developed for the Regional Renewable Energy Advisory Council which includes increasing access to affordable renewable energy and to reinforce grid reliability while driving renewable industry development.
An announcement will also be made on the free information sessions available to educate the community about solar energy and the co-op.
