City of San Elizario issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
Texas Gas Service works hard to deliver reliable natural gas service with minimum
disruption and inconvenience to the public, our customers, employees and the environment, while meeting state and federal safety requirements.
In the next few days Texas Gas Service will begin a replacement project along Chicken Ranch Rd and Alarcon. In order to complete project, the intersection of Chicken Ranch Rd and Alarcon will need to be completely closed on or after November 30th,2020. An alternate route will be announced and placed for all
residents and other passing through motorist to follow. The projected construction
hours are from Monday through Saturday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
In order to efficiently and effectively complete the construction and in the interest of your personal safety, we ask you to please be aware of the project equipment and personnel and to follow all traffic control signs. We apologize for any inconvenience
the maintenance work may cause. Please be assured that Texas Gas Service will work diligently to minimize any disturbances.
