Graduates earn 313 degrees, certificates from the Pima Medical Institute-El Paso

About 25.6 percent of the 313 degrees and certificates handed out by the Pima Medical Institute-El Paso in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Paso conferred 80 certificates in veterinary/animal health technology/technician and veterinary assistant programs.

Other popular programs include medical/clinical assistant, occupational therapist assistant and phlebotomy technician/phlebotomist.

The institute enrolled 483 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
