Western Technical College enrolls 495 undergrads

At Western Technical College, 60 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 61 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in El Paso enrolled 495 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

57 percent of undergraduates are residents of Texas, and 6 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (61 percent) and white (20 percent).
