The Pima Medical Institute-El Paso enrolls 483 undergrads

At the Pima Medical Institute-El Paso, 52 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 80 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in El Paso enrolled 483 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 15.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

90 percent of undergraduates are residents of Texas, and 10 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (84 percent) and white (9 percent).
