Veronica Escobar has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Beto O’Rourke and previously held office as an El Paso County Commissioner from 2007 to 2011. Born and residing in El Paso, Texas, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at El Paso.
